As a Systems Engineer, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter by supporting our customer’s technical staff to broaden technical capabilities through 3rd party contracts and internal partnerships.
HOW A SYSTEMS ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
– Support customer’s technical staff to broaden technical capabilities through 3rd party contracts and internal partnerships.
– Draft documentation and support the contracting process through SSJ, SOW, requirements, etc.
– Foster communication between partners to ensure high-quality products are delivered on-time and on-budget.
– Develop expertise in special areas and serve as a technical SME on designated topics.
– Secure approvals and conduct field tests of systems under development.
– Coordinate stakeholder engagements, such as user requirements sessions.
– Lead technical efforts that support the O&M of deployed systems.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
– Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical Engineering) or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
– Experience: 10+ years of related experience.
– Security Clearance: Top Secret SCI + Polygraph (Required).
– Citizenship: US Citizenship Required.
– Required Skills:
* Demonstrated experience with SETA and Agency Tech Dev.
* Systems engineering expertise supporting full lifecycle development of complex hardware/software systems.
* Proven experience drafting requirements, managing program reviews, working with 3rd party vendors, generating test plans, and guiding troubleshooting.
* Experience supporting customer contracting processes and formal documentation systems.
* Hands-on experience validating and testing technical systems.
* Strong ability to apply technical knowledge in RF systems network infrastructure, communication protocols, quality standards, and manufacturing.
* Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
DESIRED SKILLS:
– Experience with satellite communications and satellite systems.
– Experience with computer networking.
– Experience using customer technical tools and systems.
