Revisions to User Fees for Export and Investment Promotion Services/Events

Notice
Commerce Department, International Trade Administration
Notice
June 22, 2026
2026-12507

πŸ“„ Summary

The International Trade Administration (ITA) is implementing new user fees for its export and investment promotion services/events to align with guidance from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) in Circular A-25, which calls for agencies to fully recover their costs when providing services. ITA recently carried out an independent cost study which determined that the agency was not fully covering its costs when providing certain services under its current fee structure. This notice also details new services and programs that ITA will be introducing. These changes would be revisions to ITA's export and investment promotion User Fee Schedule, published on July 1, 2018. ITA is seeking comments on the revised User Fee Schedule, the additions to its menu of services, and any other topics germane to this notice.
